Brown currently studies Hapkido, and is a 1st Dan Black Belt in Hapkido, Certified by Grandmaster Barry Rodemaker and the Tactical Hapkido Alliance. Brown also studies Hapkido under Master Blaine Grissom, and has been awarded his 1st Dan Black Belt in Hapkido under Master Grissom. Brown started his Hapkido training in 1998 at the Synergy Martial Arts Guild in Emporia, Kansas under Sensei Christian Ramsey in Combat Hapkido. While Brown studied Combat Hapkido, he also trained in Jiu Jitsu with his brother. Over the next 9 years, Brown continued to train and work out with several different instructors and fellow Martial Artists. In 2004, Brown became a member of the International Renzoku Jiu Jitsu Association, and began his studies in Renzoku Jiu Jitsu. In 2004, Brown opened the Grappler's Guild in Burlingame, Kansas, and taught Jiu Jitsu to local teenagers. In the beginning of 2007, Brown was awarded his 1st Degree Black Belt in Renzoku Jiu Jitsu by Soke John Cozatt, and was also awarded his 1st Degree Black Belt in Tactical Hapkido by Grandmaster Barry Rodemaker. Brown is the Kansas State Director for the Tactical Hapkido Alliance, and the International Self Defense Combatives Association.

Brown studies Hapkido under Tactical Hapkido Founder, Grandmaster Barry Rodemaker and Saja Hapkido Founder, Master Blaine Grissom.

Brown has also trained in Brazillian Jiu Jitsu, Shaolin Kempo, Combat Hapkido, and American Kenpo.

Brown is a Kansas Certified Law Enforcement Officer, and is a former Chief of Police and Criminal Investigator. Brown is also a student of Executive Security International, and has provided Executive Protection Services for several well known Celebrities and Motivational Speakers.
